Does it cost the host a monthly fee?
The host’s agreed promotional allocation on its own screen has no monthly advertising charge. The allocation is confirmed in the written location schedule.
Can I promote my own products, services, or deals?
Yes. Hosts can feature products, services, appointments, memberships, menu items, specials, loyalty offers, gift cards, events, and other approved messages relevant to their business.
What promotional material does the host provide?
The host supplies finished, display-ready material for its agreed screen space. HelloHood reviews it for screen suitability, schedules approved material, and manages its display. Creative design, writing, photography, and video production are not included unless separately agreed.
How much of the screen can I use?
The promotional allocation is negotiated for each location and confirmed in the written location schedule.
Can competitors advertise on my screen?
HelloHood will not place advertising from your same narrow business category on your screen. You can also identify up to three additional competitors you want excluded at your location.
Can I control sensitive advertising categories?
Hosts can provide preferences about sensitive categories. Some categories require additional review and host approval where applicable.
Can I change my promotions?
Yes. For an update, the host supplies replacement or updated display-ready material. HelloHood reviews it for screen suitability and schedules approved material.
Who manages the advertising?
HelloHood manages advertiser relationships, scheduling, approval, and the remaining advertising space in the network.
What happens if I already have a television?
A separate silent HelloHood screen can be used while an existing television, YouTube, music, or entertainment setup stays unchanged. With the host’s agreement, a suitable existing TV may instead be dedicated to HelloHood, with a separate music speaker if needed. Before recommending that option, HelloHood and the host confirm sightlines, speaker coverage, equipment ownership, support responsibility, and that the TV will no longer provide visual entertainment. HelloHood advertising does not alternate with or interrupt continuous entertainment, and screen content must work without audio.
What does the installation involve?
HelloHood discusses the screen location, visibility, power, agreed internet access, and reasonable service access before confirming the arrangement.
Could my business be promoted at other participating locations?
Hosts can request promotional placements elsewhere in the network, subject to availability, relevance, receiving-host approval, and content restrictions.
