Collection and purpose
Information you choose to send.
A host-location inquiry may include your name, business name, neighbourhood, business type, email address, optional phone number, whether the location has a television, and what the business would like to promote. An advertiser inquiry may include your name, business name, email address, business type, preferred campaign timing, preferred Ottawa area or venue types, and what you would like to promote. An email inquiry includes the information you put in the message and its standard email metadata.
We use this information to respond, evaluate the request, discuss a possible host or advertising relationship, provide requested support, and keep the records reasonably needed for those purposes. We do not sell inquiry information or add an inquirer to a marketing list without separate consent.
Handling
Limited access and service providers.
Access is limited to HelloHood's co-founders and specifically authorized personnel or contractors who need the information to handle the inquiry or support the relationship.
Vercel hosts the website and processes form requests, Resend transmits form emails, and Gmail stores inquiry email. These providers process information on HelloHood's behalf and may process or store it outside Canada, where local laws apply.
Your choices
Questions, access, correction, or deletion.
You may ask about the personal information we hold about you, request a correction, or ask us to delete it. Some requests may be subject to legal exceptions or records we must keep.
